Taal Incternship Facilitation

We believe that people are our most valued resource and to increase the reach of rhythm, music and the arts into every walk of our life, we bring to you the Taal Incternship programme for facilitators. As our facilitator incterns, you will be exposed to:

Observation for our ongoing Art Talks sessions

Observation for our ongoing Kids In Rhythm sessions

Co-facilitation for our ongoing Art Talks sessions

Co-facilitation for our ongoing Kids In Rhythm sessions

Structured documentation and post-session report writing.

Pre- and post session setup and wrap-up formalities.

Support for Taal Inc. Drum Circle events (open and private).

Week 1

– Welcome and Introduction to the team at Taal Inc

– Orientation to ongoing Taal Inc. Kids In Rhythm and Art Talks programmes.

– Assignment of duties and structure of work

Week 2

– Assignment to centre or centres for observation and co-facilitation of Kids In Rhythm and Art Talks Programmes

– Assignment of one-off events for support facilitator function

Can I apply for the Taal Incternship programme?

If you are over 17 years of age, currently pursuing your BA/BCOM/BSC any other stream (but can demonstrate competence in the aforementioned areas of work) and are interested in working for a company like us you are eligible to apply for the Incternship. Written permission from your parent or guardian will be required for out of station applicants.

Ideal profile of applicants:

– A Bachelors in Arts and Humanities with Psychology as a major

– Experience with working with children

– Experience or affinity to the performing arts such as music, percussion, creative movement, dance, singing etc.

– A character that is committed, humble and open to learn.

When and where would I work?

Your work timings and venues will be flexible. We have sessions running at various centres and we will assign you to a centre that is of most convenience to you and Taal Inc. You will be under the wing of our trained facilitators and teachers who have been mentored by Varun Venkit, our founder / director.

What’s in it for me?


Besides learning the ways that Taal Inc. functions, you will also have the perk of learning the djembe for free and attending all of our unique events. In addition to this, Taal Inc. will reimburse your travelling expenses.

On successful completion of your incternship, you will also be awarded a certificate to add to your CV at the end of the stipulated two months.
