Taal Inc. Corporate Drum Circles X #HUL #FutureLeaders: We love it when a client is willing to be open and understand how deep the corporate training benefits of alleged ‘fun’ team building activities for adults can go… Everyone claims that their intervention is THE intervention for the team when they are selling. So how are we different? Let me explain…

Usually when we get a call from from a corporate HR leader for an in-person / physical team building activity using drums and rhythm we are elated because these are individuals who have studied, know of and believe in the therapeutic benefits of drumming team building activities such as drum circles, art therapy, dance movement, creative writing sessions…

After an initial conversation it becomes rather whether the person I am talking to is merely looking for fun activities in office for adults or if they are looking to really add value through the activity they are choosing. I tend to lean toward those who are interested in the latter but am happy and grateful to work in any and or all situations I can (even with those who simply type in ‘Team Building Activities in Pune’ and then call us). I make sure that the client’s expectations are set and calibrated according to the option of work chosen. Many sell an activity with the promise of change that can happen only over a period of time after repeated interventions through simply one apparently ‘life-changing’ session. That’s something I can guarantee that Taal Inc. will not do. We have been in this business long enough to know that it is better to tell you like it is so that there are NO surprises for any of us before, during or after a session.

Here’s a video of a corporate training session I did recently

Why did we drum with this group of high achievers who were going to go through a year long leadership training program? Here’s our three point agenda

  1. Because well begun is half done we wanted to start this initiative off with a BANG!
  2. We wanted the participants to discover one new thing about themselves. We believe that it is of utmost importance to keep entering situations that allow for such realisations no matter what life stage we are in…
  3. We wanted the participants to discover at least one new thing about someone else they were drumming with. Wherever we go, there will always be people and the more we are able to practice and deepen our connection with others the more human we will be…

Keeping it honest, clear, simple and precise helps us achieve bite size yet noticeable progress. We’re excited to use drumming and art based experiential activities to help develop and chisel human software. This is what drives us at #TaalInc.

We wish this amazing all the very best for a very bright future ahead…
