More trained drum circle facilitators will mean better quality of work, which will mean more happy clients, which will mean more drum circles, which will mean more of us can do this for a living and enjoy our passion turning into our profession through meaningful team building activities in Pune.Through team building facilitator training, facilitators gain the skills, confidence, and structure needed to deliver impactful experiences that strengthen communities while supporting a sustainable and fulfilling career path.

This time I thought I would share the importance of joining the Find Your Inner Rhythm 2026 Cohort through some videos that I put together recently, highlighting how team facilitation training can support your journey as a confident and impactful facilitator.

We’ve come across many people who feel that drum circle facilitation is not for them because they think they “don’t have a musical bone in their body.” To address this, here are two myths that are holding you back from joining this drum circle facilitator course and exploring the power of group work facilitation…

The “Myths of Drum Circle Facilitation” Video

Myth: “I have no sense of beat.”
Reality: Your heart beats; you have rhythm…!

Myth: “I need an expensive drum.”
Reality: Your body and a tabletop are your first instruments.

Whether you’re beginning or continuing to spread rhythm with groups of all backgrounds, stop letting myths stop your growth and join the next cohort to strengthen your skills for facilitators and continue growing on your journey.

When I speak to potential students, I end up answering the question of what will 7 days of #FindYourInnerRhythm do?
That’s the time it takes to move from “just listening” to “truly feeling.” FYIR isn’t just a workshop; it’s a recalibration, an experience where we gather the tools to understand the vocabulary of drum circle facilitation and develop strong team facilitation skills. Day 8 onwards we start applying and learn by doing…

Days 1 & 2 are dedicated to going through and experiencing the therapeutic benefits of group drum jams first hand as part of your group facilitation training journey.

Days 3 & 4 are spent learning the vocabulary and language of drum circle facilitation.
Days 5, 6 & 7 are used to apply these tools and techniques practically as we bring groups to the venue to be participants of your (potentially first) student drum circles.

Day 8 onwards, when you step back into the real world, you will feel a renewed confidence when you are equipped with all the information needed to navigate corporate drum circles, employee engagement sessions, drum circle therapy situations, team building sessions, kids drum circles, or community drum circles you’ll be a part of in the future.

There’s SO much more to drum circle facilitation than meets the eye. I keep saying this at every opportunity I get. It’s a lot more than the facilitation cues of playing loudly and softly, going slow or going fast…

Learn the duties and responsibilities of a drum circle facilitator, especially through team building facilitator training, which go far deeper than simply helping the group keep the beat. You’re working on being as present and aware as possible to hold space for the group as they express and process their dormant behavioural and/or emotional content.

For my drum jam regulars; I love that you come month after month to drum and support the community. But maybe it’s time to stop only playing for the crowd and start leading the circle through team facilitation training…?

The Find Your Inner Rhythm Intensive Course isn’t just a music or drumming workshop; it’s a train-the-trainer masterclass in facilitating human connection. Whether you’re a corporate coach looking to break the ice or a therapist seeking new expressive tools, this 7-day deep dive is where you build your foundation of learning to use rhythm with groups.

What you’ll master

  • Drum circle facilitation techniques
  • Be introduced to Principles of Psychology & Expressive Arts
  • How to create “safe spaces” for group healing

In case you’re looking for more reasons to join the only facilitator course for drum circle India has to offer here’s another video for you:

The “Reasons to join the FYIR 2026 cohort” Video

This one is a special video. I’ve been travelling through Feb and March of 2026, and during this time I felt very blessed to be able to entrust my dear drum circle course batch of 2023 & 2024 facilitators, Chetana Iyer and Akshay Gupta, to lead the community drum circles that happened during this period through the spirit of group work facilitation.

The community gathered. They drummed. They enjoyed connecting with each other through rhythm. What a proud moment it was for me to watch videos and hear excited updates through session report voice notes from them.
