There really ain’t no mountain high enough or there ain’t no valley wide enough to keep Taal Inc. from getting to you…
This was to be my first trip to Vishakhapatnam, beach city in Andhra Pradesh extraordinaire…
Since I wouldn’t have time to experience the local music id do the next best thing- eat some delicious, spicy local food. Some traditional Mamsam (mutton) and sea food would soon be devoured.
And to my surprise, we were staying on Varun Beach!! (I kid you not!)
The actual reason I was in Vizag was to do what I do best, lead a group into an interactive group drumming activity. I would speak about the benefits of a drum circle and Team Drumming both musical and more importantly: non-musical.
Usually, we would use the djembe for our Corporate Training Sessions to bring about a strong and powerful group-rhythm. But this time we would use whacky and creative instruments:
The Mouth Organ / Harmonica
The Tambourine
The Dumru
Whistles
Shakers and Rattles
Each of these represent a different voice while conducting Group Activities for Employees, a different personality- much like the different people we have in our teams. The challenge is when we can all have our say (play our respective instrument) and together, create magic (a unanimous group-rhythm)
There are two most important days in a ‘life; the day one is born and the day one realizes why -Mark Twain. Come experience how, through a Taal Inc. Corporate Team Building activity…
Now back to the land of wada pav and Octroi Tax!!
